The airline was formed in 1963 as Arkhangelsk United Aviation Squadron. With the fleet size of 9 Boeing 737-500 with economy-class lounges, the airline operates flights to 32 destinations. The parent company of NorDavia is Sky Invest. Nordavia operates scheduled and charter flights under the code of 5N in more than 30 Russian and foreign airports.

In 2009, the airline received the IOSA certificate (IATA - Operational Safety Audit) as an international certificate of quality and safety of services provided by Nordavia.  In 2011, 2013 and in 2015, Nordavia has successfully passed the recertification audit IOSA, confirming once again safe carrier status. At the end of 2012 "Nordavia - regional airlines" is the most punctual airline in Russia.

Nordavia Baggage Allowance

Baggage is an essential part when you travel. Keeping this in mind, Nordavia baggage allowance policy is excellent.

Free baggage allowance:

Economic Class: The Economic Class Passengers are allowed to carry 23 kgs of checked baggage on board and 10 kgs of luggage inside the cabin.

Note: Maximum dimensions of hand baggage must not exceed 115 cm (55X40X20CM).  If the total weight of passenger’s baggage does not exceed 10 kg, the number of pieces of baggage not limited.

Business class: The business class passengers are allowed to carry 30 Kgs of checked baggage on board. Nordavia Airlines business class baggage allowance for cabin is 10 kgs.

Nordavia Food & Drinks

Nordavia offers delicious food items on board.  The airline offers meals (including juice and non-alcohol beverages) and the menus depend on time, duration and route of the flight. Passengers can also order additional meals before 24 hours of the scheduled flight departure.
