Tbilisi – the Georgian capital has a lot to explore. Tbilisi is conveniently perched along the Mtkvari River banks and surrounded by hills and mountains. Despite its condensed size, Tbilisi offers a lot of popular attractions. It is a perfect destination in Georgia that blends different cultures and diverse history, and exploring all attractions in three days might just not be possible. So to make things simpler, we’ve made a detailed itinerary to spend three days in Tbilisi.
Get a flight booking to Tbilisi’s Shota Rustaveli Tbilisi International Airport (TBS) during the early hours of the day one. Choose a hotel/hostel located near the city centre. The airport is located 17 kilometers away from the city centre. You can take a taxi/train/bus to reach the hotel. Few hotels may offer free shuttle service from the airport. Taxis are available throughout the day and the fare depends on the taxi meter indication. Check in your hotel as early as possible, freshen up, and have a breakfast.

The Old Town is filled with picture-perfect balconies, cobblestone streets, tiny shops, and ancient churches which will take you back into past time. Those who’re looking for nightlife and great dinner can tuck into a table at its popular restaurants. Never miss tasting the Khachapuri in Tbilisi.
On the morning of Day 2, get ready to explore Tbilisi’s glory. Grab some breakfast at the hotel. Have a look at unique collection of artworks in Georgian National Museum located in Rustaveli Avenue. The museum open from 10 AM to 6 PM. Spend at least 2 hours to view the wonderful world of culture, science, and art.
Following this, make way to enjoy fun time at Mtatsminda Park – a fun spot for generations. Mtatsminda Park is an amusement park located 800-metres above the city. Tourists can enjoy a range of activities like flume ride, children’s rides, mini Mine Train Coaster, spinning coaster, Febbri drop tower, reverse bungee, and much more. From the park, tourists can enjoy spectacular views of the city. Meanwhile, you can have snacks or soft drinks at its number of outdoor cafes at reasonable prices.
No trip to Georgia will complete without tasting a traditional Georgina dinner and the best wines of the country. Choose the best wine bar and restaurant to taste a large selection of Georgian wines and dishes.
Your last day in Tbilisi can be spent by shopping and wandering Tbilisi’s flea markets. Marjanishvili neighborhood is the best place to spend your final day. Dry Bridge Bazaar is a fantastic shopping area where you can get entertained for hours. Purchase from a range of antiques, jewelery, to bric-a-brac at the Dry Bridge.
If you’re not interested in shopping here is one more must-do activity in Tbilisi. Never miss exploring the Mother Georgia Statue and the city via cable car. Take a cheap cable car ride and enjoy bird’s eye view over the city while riding from Narikala Fortress to the Old Town.
Head back to the hotel, start packing your baggage and leave some time for your relaxation. Check-in for your flight on time and fly back to your hometown with priceless memories.
